Butuan City Balangay Fraternity & Sorority Alliance Marks 2nd Anniversary with Symbolic Gesture Towards Anti-Hazing Law

The Butuan City Balangay Fraternity & Sorority Alliance marked its second founding anniversary with a symbolic gesture towards the eradication of hazing practices. In a ceremony attended by representatives from #SUUL1973 and the Knights Ulphans Omega, Delta Omega, and Alumni chapters in Butuan City, a paddle symbolizing fraternity rituals was handed over to the Philippine National Police (PNP) in Agusan del Norte.

This gesture, aimed at supporting the Anti-Hazing Law, emphasized the Alliance's commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive environment within fraternal organizations. The Alliance spokesperson reiterated their condemnation of hazing and violence, emphasizing the importance of mutual respect and shared values in true brotherhood and sisterhood.
